Here is note we got from author Frank Lavin.

Thank you for your support during the launch of my book “Home Front to Battlefront.” I was gratified by the outpouring of emails, encouragement and praise for the book. But most meaningful were the stories many shared reflecting on family connections to WWII. All of this prompted me to write a short piece on LinkedIn highlighting a few of these personal narratives.

I'd also like to let you know about my book tour, where I will be discussing the U.S. in WWII and my father's story. As the above comments indicate, it is a history with which many people have a family connection; one that shapes the America and the world of today. More information.

If you can help, please….
